Old and Unconventional

Old and Unconventional

Think you're too old? Too unconventional?

Portuguese writer José Saramago gained notoriety with his fourth book at the age of 60. Over 2,000,000 copies have been sold in Portugal alone, and his work has been translated into 25 languages.

Saramago's experimental style was characterized by long sentences, sometimes filling an entire page. He seldom used periods, opting instead for commas to connect clauses.

Two lessons for you:

  1. Success isn't always instant.

  2. It's possible for you to have success playing your game, even if it's unconventional.

Keep going!
